Mildred Scarf

This scarf from the 1920s is another easy project for the advanced beginning knitter. The Indian Cross Stitch pattern is relatively simple to master. The scarf can be made in two sections, each worked from the cast-on row upward, then grafted together at the halfway point using invisible weaving for garter stitch. It can also be worked as one piece, from one short end to the other.
