Midwest Moonlight Scarf
Pattern Description from Scarf Style: “heading out to a midwinter gala? Running errands in town on a snowy day? Skating upriver through the trees? This down-to-earth scarf will keep you snug whatever you do and its femininity will make you feel at home in your best dress or add a little class to your practical coat. Ivy Bigelow has chosen a simple, tailored lace pattern, based on the Tilting Block Pattern from Barbara Walker’s Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns, for a graceful scarf that isn’t overly fussy. Says Ivy, ‘The tweedy, rustic quality of this soft yarn gives the lace a delicious earthiness. And working with an organic cotton-and-wool blend is as good as eating soul food.’ In an icy blue, this scarf is regal enough for a winter queen.”
Finished Size: 10” (25.4 cm) wide and 60” (152.5 cm) long, after blocking.

Needles: Size 6 (4mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle.
Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows = 2” (5 cm) in garter st.
