Merryall Cardigan
A perfectly wearable, everyday cardi, knit from the top down without seams. The yoke is worked with an elongated raglan for a relaxed slouchy feel and a cut-away hem channels the feeling of a cocoon sweater with out the fuss or extra fabric. The body is worked in stockinette stitch with gentle waist shaping and the edges are finished in a neat 1x1 rib with a sewn tubular BO.
Finished Measurements

The yarn for the sample is a 100% merino ‘farm yarn’ from Merryall CT. It was spun at the Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney VT and is nearly identical to the New Mexico Organic, and Local Color. Since neither of those is marled, any DK or light worsted weight yarn can easily be subbed, please contact me with a DM if you have any questions.
