This is a quick and easy to make mermaid tail bag. It’s a useful size for the summer, and will hold a purse, keys, phone and suncream and would make a great gift. The bag is made using 2 colours of yarn worked together, with an optional metallic thread.

The pattern uses half double crochet, double crochet and single crochet stitches and has an optional row of crocodile stitch, for which a full photo tutorial is provided.
