Mercury
“The crossing of black and striped sections creates the bust shaping with no need for short rows. The A-line skirt portion of the top is knit in sheer and solid stripes. Straps are an option.”
Uses three colors of yarn
MC 985 (1100, 1275, 1475) yds
CC A 215 (250, 325, 400) yds
CC B 335 (375, 425, 450) yds
Main color is worked with two strands held together in skirt portion, rest of garment uses single strand of yarn
Gauge is 26 sts and 27 rows in stockinette stitch on size US 7 (4.5 mm) needles and 26 sts and 26 rows in sheer and solid stripe pattern
Also needed: stitch holder and 4 yds 19mm (3/4”) elastic
