Meadows Shawl
An asymmetrical Tunisian crochet boomerang shawl made with two closely coordinating colors for a perfect faded shawl
This shawl is made in memory of my Grandma, who passed away last year. Driving from my childhood home to her home, we would go past the Meadows country club and have this beautiful view of farmland and sky. As I made this shawl, she was in the forefront of my mind and how much I will miss her. But knowing that this shawl reminds me of my visits of her brings me joy and will be worn on days where I need a bit more Kay Daly energy in my life. She was 91 years old, gave birth to 14 children, and always was a kind and crafty soul. The Meadows Shawl will be my tribute to her, because I am a stronger person having her as my grandma.
This shawl is made using 2 skeins of DK weight yarn. Because of the Tunisian Full Stitch and mesh section, this shawl has wonderful drape. It will be a perfect fall and spring accessory to brighten any outfit.
