May’s Toesday sock celebrates Spring in all its glory. Shorty socks with a little lace made out of bamboo pop sock yarn. This yarn is a stretchy bamboo cotton blend - cotton pulls heat away from your feet, bamboo is wicking and fast drying, anti-bacterial, and anti-stinky. Pretty much perfection for socks. And… with the elastic, it is an enjoyable plant based yarn to knit.

The socks are shorties knit from the toe up. There is a chart to follow for the lace motif - there are NO WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CHART. The heel is a modified short heel allowing for a little deeper instep for the short socks. I may make a pair without the lace too!
