Finished Size 31 1/2 (34 1/2, 37 1/2, 40, 43 1/2, 47 1/2)“ bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 34 1/2”, modeled with 1 1/2” of negative ease.
Yarn Schoppel Wolle Cashmere Queen (45% merino wool, 35% cashmere, 20% silk; 153 yd 140 m/1 3/4 oz 50 g): #6165 parsley, 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 16) balls. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Needles Body and sleeves—size 5 (3.75 mm). Bands—size 3 (3.25 mm): straight and 16” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge 24 sts and 36 rows = 4” in Double Moss st on larger needles; 8 sts of Rope Cable chart = 7/8” wide on larger needles; 24 sts of Side Panel chart = 3” wide on larger needles; 40 sts of Center Panel chart = 4 1/2” wide on larger needles.
The Matalina Pullover stays light with a DK-weight yarn and cables that contain negative space and a minimal number of crossings. The ribbing-based pattern creates a gently fitted silhouette in a unique cashmere with deep color.
