Martin the Snail
by Stacey Trock
Meet Martin the Snail!
This cutie proves that crawlies don’t have to be icky… they can be down-right adorable! Martin measures 5” tall when crocheted with a worsted weight yarn… but use any thickness of yarn to make her bigger or smaller!
To complete this pattern, you’ll need:
- Size H (5.0mm) hook, or size to get a nice-looking fabric
- 3 colors of worsted weight yarn (Ella Rae Classic used in the sample): tan (35 yards), blue (50 yards) and white (10 yards)
- A pair of 12mm plastic craft eyes
- Polyester stuffing
- Tapestry needle
This cutie is an intermediate-level pattern that requires basic crochet skills.
You’ll need to:
- single crochet
- decrease
- increase
This pattern is a pdf that contains progress photos of all the important steps, so you won’t get lost! You can email me anytime with questions :)
