Marthe Mitts were inspired by a friend, who wanted to have something to warm her hands while playing the cello in cold churches. The pattern is reminiscent of gothic church windows.

The pattern is only worked on the top of the mitts, with the thumb offset slightly to the inside for increased comfort.

Included in the pattern is a photo tutorial for the lateral braid, which marks the end of the cuff.

Marthe Mitts sind inspiriert von einer Freundin, die beim Cello-Spielen in kalten Kirchen gerne warme Hände hätte. Die Muster erinnern ein wenig an die Muster von gotischen Kirchenfenstern.

Das obere Muster wird nur auf der Oberseite der Stulpen
gestrickt, der Daumen ist für die Bequemlichkeit leicht nach innen versetzt.
