Marled Checks is my take on Dave Chihuly’s glass sculpture in Atlantis hotel in Dubai. It is made in the round with two light-fingering(super fine) weight yarn held together at a time to make sport weight yarn giving it an ombre look.
I got the perfect colour combination in Yarn bee pigment+fibre yarn set. You can try variations with colour combinations of your choice for the gradient. Or you can use a base colour and change just the second colour every time. This beanie can be an excellent stash buster too.

Yarn: 6 colours of light fingering yarn held double at a time.
Gauge in pattern: 27 stitches and 33 rows in 4”.
Size: fits comfortably most average adults with 20” to 21” head circumference.
Materials: US3 and US5 needles.
