Marie pullover
The Marie pullover was inspired by a famous christmasy “Nutcracker” book written by E.T.A. Hoffmann in 1816. Marie was the main character who saved the Nutcracker form the Mouse King.
Marie has a very relaxed fit fit round yoke garment knit seamlessly top-down, starting with a provisional cast-on.
Neckband is worked after body and hem are done.
Sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and knit separately.
The back is slightly longer than the front (worked with short-rows).
All the ribbings are knit with a smaller needle size.
Finished garment’s measurements at bust:
114/120/125/132/137cm
45/47/49/52/54/in
For knitting this pullover you will need 2 contrast colors of yarn.
