Margaret C. shawl
Pattern Notes:
The different lace patterns within the piece make it interesting, and the simplicity of the shaping allows for personal adjustments, dependent on yarn and size required. This design is inspired by the figure of Margaret Cavendish (1623–1673) was a poet, philosopher, writer of prose romances, essayist and playwright, publishing under her own name at a time when most women writers remained anonymous. She covered a number of topics, including gender, power, manners, scientific method and philosophy.
