L’ensemble Marée a été créé pour le tout premier numéro de Fibre magazine, sous la thématique de l’abondance. J’ai donc choisi de créer un ensemble avec l’idée de la marée, l’eau fleuviale, qui est en abondance dans le Bas du Saint-Laurent, région à laquelle j’ai habitée les 8 dernières années.

Comme tous mes patrons de mitaines, Marée peut se tricoter avec ou sans doublure en mohair. Marée est un modèle de mitaines qui se travaille du poignet vers le bout des doigts avec un ensemble de diminutions vers l’intérieur de la main. C’est un modèle rempli de dentelle et de ‘’noppe’’. Le projet terminé reste leger étant donné qu’il est tricoté avec un brin de fingering et doublé à l’intérieur de mohair.

Matériaux
Laine : Fibre Carpe Diem, base Lana (85% mérino superwash et 25% nylon) et Allegra (72% mohair et 28% soie). Vous aurez besoin de :
- Fingering (100 g pour 363 mètres) : 1 écheveau ou environ 60 (70, 80) g
- Mohair (50 g pour 420 mètres) : environ 15 (20, 25) g
Avec les aiguilles 3 mm / US2.5 pour la mitaine et 2.5 mm / US1.5 pour la doublure en mohair.

Échantillon
Avec les aiguilles 3 mm / US2.5, tricotez en rond 30 mailles par 44 rangs en jersey endroit = 10 cm après blocage.

Tailles disponibles
1 (2, 3) correspondant à 16 (17, 19) cm au point le plus fort, comprenant la jointure au niveau du pouce.

Techniques utilisées
Montage des mailles avec la méthode du long-tail et backward loop ; point de dentelle ; point de bubble; rabattage des mailles avec la méthode du grafting

The Marée kit was created for the very first issue of Fibre magazine, under the theme of abundance. So I chose to create a set with the idea of the tide, river water, which is in abundance in the Lower St Lawrence, the region I’ve lived in for the past 8 years.

Like all my mittens, Marée can be knitted with or without a mohair lining. Marée is a mittens pattern that is worked from the wrist to the fingertips, with a set of decreases towards the inside of the hand. It’s filled with lace and bubbles. The finished project remains light as it is knitted with a strand of fingering and lined on the inside with mohair.

Material
Yarn: Fibre Carpe Diem, base Lana (85% merino superwash and 25% nylon) & Allegra (72% mohair and 28% silk). You will need:
- Fingering (100 g / 363 meters) : 1 skein or approx. 60 (70, 80) g
- Mohair (50 g / 420 meters) : approx. 15 (20, 25) g
Needles: 3 mm / US2.5 for the mitten and 2.5 mm / US1.5 for the mohair lining.

Échantillon
With 3 mm / US2.5 needles, work in the round 30 stitches x 44 rounds in stockinette = 10 cm after blocking.

Available sizes
1 (2, 3) corresponding to 16 (17, 19) cm at the strongest point of your hand, including the thumb joint.
