Maple Leaf Rag
A dramatic textured leaf motif decorates this striking shawl, named after the happy piano tune written by Scott Joplin. The shawl is worked top-down, and only one stitch pattern is used, making the shawl very customizable, as you can work as many repeats of the chart as you like until the shawl is your desired size. Samples are shown in worsted weight yarns, but try experimenting with lighter or even heavier weight yarn; adjust needles and yardage accordingly. Charted instructions are used. This pattern is for the intermediate knitter.
