Maple & Honey
This shawl is all about texture, coziness, and the freedom to change colors whenver and wherever you’d like! I
love it in the natural alpaca shades of maple and honey, but it would also be beautiful in a single color, or in an
entire gradient of colors. Because it’s knit from side to side, you can make it as deep as you want, and as long as
you want - at 120” long, it comfortably wraps twice around your neck, but because of the gradual change in depth
of the shawl, it isn’t too bulky even after multiple wraps. I think that the broken rib texture is equally beautiful on
both sides, which makes it easy to wrap up without worrying about the “wrong” side showing.
Finished Measurements
120” wingspan, 1” deep at narrowest point and 15” deep at widest point

Hinterland Range (50% Rambouillet / 50% Alpaca)

Construction Notes
Shawl is worked flat from side to side.
Color changes can occur at any point
and as often as the knitter chooses.
Once decreases begin, the knitter can
decrease all the way back down to the
starting stitch count, or stop at
whatever length and depth is preferred.
