This easy to follow pattern (7 pages) is written for one size. It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places.

Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches are used in this pattern), though an “adventurous” beginner can handle it!

The size of finished coaster depends on the yarn and hook you use. My coaster is approx. 12,5 cm (5 inches) large .

Materials: Leftovers of yarn in four colors. I used 100% cotton yarn “Camilla” (50g/1,75 oz., 125m/137 yds.) to crochet this coaster; crochet hook 3 mm (US 3) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge; scissors and tapestry needle to weave the ends.

There are two copies of the pattern offered to download: one is very detailed with many pictures, and second copy is printer friendly (with written instructions only and no pictures).
