Mallard Duck
A bright colored bill on these birds suggest that they have been eating right and have a strong immune system, making them attractive to mates.
Mallard Duck is knit in the round and uses yarn held double throughout, making it a sturdy finished object. Finished size is around 14” long, and 6” wide.
(This is a pattern that has been substantially revised from an earlier self-published release.)
Learn more about this wonderful animal and 24 others when you read the pages of a naturalist as she travels the world, documenting the animals she sees, and designing knitting patterns for each one. This book was a collaboration with my children who did the artwork.
