Magic tree
by Judith Boyd
as these christmas card toppers are so small, gauge is not crucial. alloe 4m (4.5 yds) ofeach of two colours for each one. Shadow knitting is a very simple technique that only reveals its true design when viewed from a certain angle. Looking at these cCristmas cards face on will only show stripes, but if you hold them to eye level and look across the card from the bottom to the top, the Christmas tree will reveal itself.
