This feminine wrap is an elegantly antique way to top jeans or a bare dress. Light, lofty, hand-dyed cotton yarn give the deep shawl collar and cutaway hemline a luxurious drape. Worn open and loose or wrapped and curvy (closed with our pretty shawl pin), anything you wear it over will be sure to thank you!
Suggested for experienced knitters.
Note: This garment is very easy to up size for larger than 45” bust sizes. Simply continue working the garter st area for as many more inches as needed, then continue with the edging stitch.
One of the techniques used in this pattern is attaching an edging to live stitches of the body while simultaneously knitting the trim. It’s a common technique used for shawls and I suggest reading up on it first so that you will understand the explanation for it in my pattern. It is explained well here and shows photos:
