These cabled mittens are worked in the lovely Blue Moon Fiber Arts Yaksi DK. They are worked at a finer gauge for warmth and wear. They are suitable for working outside, keeping your hands toasty warm, or just a walk in the park. These mittens are written as a charted pattern. The braided cable is complex looking but easy to execute. The small twisted cables are done without a cable needle. The thumb is a gusseted thumb, the most comfortable. The decreases at the top of the mitten are a traditional Scandinavian decrease, Kitchenered at the top. Lots of fun techniques to keep the experienced knitter interested and for a new-ish knitter expanding their skills.

• Mittens are worked in the round on either DPNS or circs, knitter’s choice.
• All charts in THIS pattern are read from right to left, every round.
• Mitten is completely charted.
