This square came about after a call for help from a crafter who wanted to make a crochet blanket to help her friend raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. She asked for crocheters to send squares which she would join together into a blanket. I contributed four different squares, one of which was this new design which evolved on the hook as I worked. I went back afterwards to write up the pattern so I could share it with you all.
