Designer Åsa Tricosa’s clever shoulder shaping technique forms the basis of this top-down sweater. A column of rib stitches with small cables adds visual interest to the front of the body and is repeated at the sleeve cuffs and neck.

32”–40” circular needle, size 7 (4.50 mm) or size to obtain gauge
32”–40” circular needles, sizes 6 (4.00 mm) and 4 (3.50 mm)

NOTE
From a regular cast on for the back, Macaba is knitted top down, winding its way back and forth using Åsa’s Top-Down Ziggurat Tricnique with built-in sleeve caps. The sleeves can be knitted either using Magic Loop or on two circular needles. The lined collar is knitted last.
