Lux Dolls
by Lux
Traditional doll pattern enjoyed by generations of children. Its appearance in the 1958 Lux Book is “repeated by request.”
These simple dolls are basically a series of cylinders attached together, with overalls and a striped shirt for the “boy” version, a little dress for the “girl.” Facial features are added via embroidery.
Being an older pattern, there is not a lot of detail; just the facts, ma’am. Easy enough for a beginner who can use dpns and k2tog, but if you’re used to the detail found in contemporary patterns, you might feel at sea.
