Lumber Jack Hat
Men’s Hat Design!!!
“It can of course be unisex but I feel there are too few hats designed with men in mind.”
The hat was designed for my son, a near twenty teenager at the time. It was first conceived in red, white and grey, his school colors. I still have the hat since he has transferred to another school with different colors. ;D .
This hat is worked from the brim, in double strand to create a thick and tighter brim. One strand of color is dropped to work the rest of the hat in multiple colors. The motif is small and a good first project for color stranded work. It was designed to be a semi-slouchy hat but I have given you directions to shorten it if you wish. It is easily modified in length to your own preference.
