This granny stitch hat pattern is available in 3 sizes and is worked in the round from the top down. The top uses solid stitches while the sides allow air in, making it perfect for transitional weather. This pattern is part of the Third Edition of Granny Square Month.

4-6 Pound Preemie: 11” (28 cm) circumference x 5” (13 cm) length.
Toddler: 17.25” (44 cm) circumference x 7.75” (19.5 cm) length.
Teen/Adult Small: 20.5” (52 cm) circumference x 9” (23 cm) length.
Materials
Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn (100% acrylic, 3.5 oz/100 g, 170 yd/156 m) – 1 skein in 178AC Sea Glass, or approximately 50 yd (125 yd, 170 yd)/45.5 m (114.5 m, 155.5 m) in any medium weight yarn.
US Size H-8/5 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain correct gauge.
Yarn needle.
Gauge
Through Rnd 4 in pattern = 4.5” (11.5 cm) diameter. For best fit, always check your gauge.
