These cute summer shorties were inspired by the Love Island Sock Mini Set from Biffsugar Yarns and as at May 2023 I had to change the name of them from Love Island Socks to Lovely Shorty Socks for copyright reasons (yes, I know)!

Updated in September 2022 to include a plain pair with contrasting cast on and toe.

You can of course use any sock weight/4ply yarn to make these socks and you don’t have to do stripes if you don’t want to, the wavy stitch pattern looks just as great in a single colour.

Each sock uses approx. 25g of 4ply yarn so 50g in total for the pair.

The pattern is worked from the cuff down and has instructions for all sections but you can substitute your favourite heel and toe as per your preference.
