Pattern Notes
Do you have lots of fingering weight scraps leftover and can’t bear to throw them out? Small bits that just aren’t enough for a full project? This is the perfect project to use up all those odds and ends. And the best part? This shawl has very few ends to weave in! Most ends can be knitted in as you go. A photo tutorial is provided for the knitting in of ends - this is a separate PDF file included with your purchase. Just to reiterate – you do not need to weave in most of the ends!

Color Notes
I decided to go with a curated palette of blues, greens, purples and grays for this shawl. You can see an most of my other stashbusting patterns what a rainbow effect might look like, plus many other color stories. Get creative - this is the fun part!

Construction Notes
The Shawl is knit sideways from tip to tip. The intarsia method of changing colors is used for the main Shawl Body. Also, this shawl is worked entirely in garter stitch and garter stitch lace - no purling at all!

Materials
Fingering Weight Yarn – all the scraps!
• Total Yarn for Shawl: approximately 660 yds; about 4 yds per scrap wedge, 300 yds of MC for Shawl body, and 25 yds for I-Cord edging
Needle: US Size 3 (3.25 mm) straight or 24” circular; smaller long circular needle for picking sts for edging
Notions: Tapestry needle

22 sts x 44 rows = 4” in garter st after somewhat aggressive blocking.
