Lovebird Scarf
Go crazy with this one, y’all! Mix and match colors to find your groove. Pair up a solid fingering weight yarn with the wildest variegated laceweight you can find and see what comes up.
You’ll enjoy the construction, too. The crescent body is shaped from the top down with short rows. Then the lace edging is knitted on sideways, so there are only twelve stitches to bind off when you are done.
The lace edging pattern is both charted and written out.
Yarn Requirements: You need both fingering and lace weight yarn for this pattern:
- 250 yards (229 m) fingering weight yarn, solid color
- 440 yards (403 m) lace weight yarn, variegated, preferably with several high contrast colors

Skill Level: intermediate - requires wrap and turn, picking up wraps, k2tog and skp decreases
