Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7) covers a range of chest measurements from 80 to 140cm.

If you need a larger size, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me and I will scale up the pattern to the size you need.

Final item measurements at the chest in cm:
100 (110, 120, 130) (140, 150, 160)cm approx.

This sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 20cm of positive ease at the chest.

The sample shown is a size 2 with positive ease of 18cm.

Gauge: In stockinette stitch worked flat.

16sts and 24 rows gives 10 x 10cm before blocking.
15.5sts and 23 rows gives 10 x 10cm after blocking.

It is advisable to note down the measurements of your swatch before and after blocking to allow you to estimate the final measurements.

Yarn:

This garment is worked holding two strands together of the following yarns:

Main yarn in DK weight (120m/50g approx.)
894 (969, 1055, 1155) (1256, 1333, 1417)m
372 (404, 439, 481) (523, 556, 591)g
8 (8, 9, 10) (11, 12, 12) skeins

Secondary yarn in mohair of around (310m/25g approx.)

3 (3, 4, 4) (4, 5, 5) skeins

These quantities are approximate. The total amount required will also depend on the type of fibre used, your gauge, or any modifications you may make to the pattern.

The sample shown used LANG YARNS Yak (70% Extrafine Merino, 30% Yak 120m/50g) and Lace (58% Mohair, 42% silk 310/25g) held together.

Needles:

• 5.5mm circular needles with a cable of 60 or 80cm, or size needed to get gauge.
• 5.5mm circular needles for working the sleeves and the neck in the round in a small circumference, this could be on a short cable, a long cable for the Magic Loop method or a set of DPNs.
• 5.0mm needles for picking up stitches for the sleeve.

Other Materials:

• 5 stitch markers, one of which should be distinct from the others to mark the beginning of round.
• Cable needle. There is an option shown in the videos for working cables without a cable needle.
• A long cable with a connector to allow you to try the garment on.
• Waste yarn of a smooth fibre in the same weight and a contrasting colour for the provisional tubular cast-on.
• Stitch holder.
• Tape measure, tapestry needle, and scissors

Tallas: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7) cubre un rango de contorno de pecho de 80 a 140 cm.

Si tu contorno de pecho es mayor no dudes en contactarme y te escalo la talla a la medida que necesites.

Medidas finales de la prenda en el contorno de pecho en cm: 100 (110, 120, 130) (140, 150, 160) cm aprox. Este jersey está diseñado para ser llevado con una holgura de unos 20 cm aproximadamente en el contorno del pecho. El modelo de la fotografía es la talla 2 con una holgura de 20 cm.

Tensión: A punto liso o jersey.

16 puntos y 24 pasadas son 10 por 10 cm antes del bloqueo.
15.5 puntos y 23 pasadas son 10 por 10 cm después del bloqueo.

Es aconsejable anotar las medidas de la muestra antes y después del bloqueo, de esa forma podremos estimar las medidas finales de la prenda.

Hilado:

La prenda se teje a doble hebra con los siguientes hilados:

Hilado principal, grosor DK (120m/50g aprox)

Estas cantidades son aproximadas. El metraje total de hilado
empleado va a depender también del tipo de fibra, tensión o de las modificaciones que hagamos a la prenda.

Para el modelo de la fotografía hemos usado LANG YARNS Yak
(70% Merino extrafino, 30% Yak, 120m=50g) y Lace ( 58% Mohair,
42% Silk, 310m/25g) a doble hebra.

Agujas:

• Circulares de 5.5 mm con cable de 60 u 80 cm, o grosor adecuado para obtener la tensión de la muestra de tensión.
• Agujas de 5.5 mm adecuadas para tejer las mangas y el escote en circular, ya sean agujas con cable corto, largo para tejer con Magic Loop o juego de 5 agujas.
• Agujas de 5.0 mm para recoger los puntos de las mangas.

Otros materiales:

• 5 marcadores, uno de ellos distinto a los demás para marcar el inicio de la vuelta.
• Aguja auxiliar para cruzar los ochos. Hay una opción en los vídeos para cruzar los cables sin aguja auxiliar, en este caso no serían necesarias.
• Cable largo con conector para ir probándonos la prenda.
• Un trozo de hilo contrastante del mismo grosor y sin pelito para el montaje provisional del montaje tubular.
• Un trocito de hilo para dejar en espera los puntos de los hombros.
