The Love is in Style Hat is an adorable colorwork project and a great reminder that love is always in style. We are donating $5 from every purchase to our Imagine Knits fundraiser for teachers & children in the Minneapolis area (read on for more). The Love is in Style hat comes in four sizes from Baby to Adult L/XL so you can make one for anyone and everyone you love!

Knitters understand better than anyone how important craft can be in dealing with life’s ups and downs. Whether it’s a time of change, grief, or just the weight of the world, we’ve heard so many stories about how the rhythm of knitting has helped you through your most stressful moments.

Now seems like a good time to spread some love. We are working with teachers in the greater Minneapolis area who serve diverse communities—students who are navigating more than any child should have to. Right now, there are children in our own country who do not feel safe leaving their homes, living in a state of constant uncertainty. We want to send them something tangible to remind them they are seen and cared for.

Our goal for this fundraiser is to put one of our “Learn to Knit” kits in the hands of every student who wants one, as well as raise funds for about 5-10 care packages for students in immediate need.

We are a small, two-woman team dedicated to sharing the peace and joy of knitting. While we primarily focus on our interactive Knitrino App, we wanted to make this pattern available here for anyone who wants to help during these trying times.

For every purchase we will make a $5 direct donation to our Imagine Knits fundraiser, providing knitting kits for students in the Minneapolis area, as well as items for care packages. By purchasing this PDF, you are helping us cover the administrative costs of this project and, more importantly, helping a student discover an outlet for stress who genuinely need the comfort knitting brings. Thank you for being part of something good.
