These Love & Loved Hats & Earwarmers can be made with any yarn, using the measurements throughout the pattern to achieve the right size! The sample hats were made with worsted weight yarn. Sizing is given for Baby, Toddler, Child and Adult sizes with color-coding and stitch counts. This project works up quickly, so you and your whole family can have a meaningful hat that says “love” or “loved” with separate charts for each option!

Stitching
The brim of the hat and headband are worked in short rows first, joined, and then the hat is made up from the side of the rows’ ends. BLO sc is used to ensure great texture!
