This cardigan has the allure of fall! The rich deep color evokes fall leaves, the texture of the cables mimic the little round pinecones that fall off my trees and the weight is perfect to keep you warm on those brisk days. For the sample I used CoopKnits Socks Yeah! DK in the color way Chiron. The yarn has layers of color that lends such richness and depth to to yarn, gorgeous! And it knits up beautifully, so nice to work with!

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch.
Notes:
This rounded yoke cardigan is constructed from the top down in one piece with raglan increases to shape the bodice. To create a flattering fit, short rows in the neckband shape the back neckline higher than the front.
It is modeled with no ease. If you desire positive or negative ease choose size accordingly.
There is no body shaping, but waist shaping can be added - just note that an odd number of stitches is required between the Button Bands for the bottom ribbing.
The length of the body and sleeves can be easily adjusted.
The front bands are worked as part of the body of the cardigan. The holes created by the cables naturally form the buttonholes.
