Exact tension is not critical for this design.
PATTERN NOTES
If using a different type of yarn, make sure that the contrast shade is long enough to work at least five yarn overs in order to make the popcorns pop!
This shawl uses the technique of assigned pooling. Assigned pooling uses yarn with longer background and shorter contrast colour repeats. The idea is you let the yarn do the patterning.
