Inspired by a love of pointillism paintings, this reversible neck-down shawl uses coloured popcorns for a random pattern
MATERIALS 
The Wool Kitchen, Long Zips 4ply, 
75% merino wool/25% nylon, 100g/400m/437yds 
Shade: Pink Pop x 1 skein
Grey sample 
Barker Wool, Fern, 
85% superwash merino/15% nylon 
100g/400m/437yds 
Shade: Amarillo AP x 2 skeins 
Border is a 10g mini skein from stash
3.5mm hook

TENSION 
Exact tension is not critical for this design.
PATTERN NOTES 
If using a different type of yarn, make sure that the contrast shade is long enough to work at least five yarn overs in order to make the popcorns pop!
This shawl uses the technique of assigned pooling. Assigned pooling uses yarn with longer background and shorter contrast colour repeats. The idea is you let the yarn do the patterning.
