Lookin' For My Lost Shaker of Salt
by Heidi Nick
Top-down, written for a cast-on of 70 stitches, but easily adjusted to a bigger or smaller number of stitches via panels of purl stitches on the edges.
Gusset increases for the heel are centered in the back of the sock.
Warning: This sock is pretty snug. I would suggest not using a cast-on of smaller than the 70 stitches as written, and perhaps even going a tiny bit bigger, if you are knitting for a larger foot.
Pattern is named for a warm tropical beach, which is where I’d like to be right now, with a margarita in my hand, instead of in all this snow and ice. Knitters in my generation will understand the title. :-)
