Long Time Sun is a triangle shawl that contains a delightful combination of textures, colorwork, and lace, providing lots of opportunities for play.

The slipped stitch colorwork section can be worked with any improvised color scheme you like! It is ideal for using up scraps of color from your stash, or you can follow the detailed instructions in the pattern for the effects you see in the samples. Yarn specs for each sample follow below.

There are also several options in the pattern for size, beads, and color. I hope this brings joy to you at a time when it is sorely needed.

Small sample:
Canon Hand Dyes Bruce Yak Merino Fingering (75% sw merino, 20% yak, 5% nylon, 435 yds/100 g)
2 skeins, Main Color 1 and Main Color 2.
Sample used My Jam Plan (MC1) - 40 g (175 yds) and Topaz (MC2) - 50 g (220 yds)
Canon Hand Dyes Autumn Rainbow mini set in Bruce Yak Sock (70% sw merino, 20% yak, 10% nylon, 24 mini skeins approx. 20-22 yds each)
