Log Lady
“This Cherry Pie is a miracle” -Margaret Lanternman
When I first watched the show Twin Peaks one of the things I couldn’t stop paying attention to were all of the AMAZING sweaters worn by the characters. I had the idea to try to knit and design many of these wonderful wooly pieces back then but these things take time (and the perfect yarn) to come to life! Now, here we are, 6ish years later and it has begun! One of my favorite characters, the Log Lady was the inspiration behind this pattern. Her cozy shawl collar cardigan with the bold color work just called to me, and I knew it was destined for this ongoing collection! I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing it as much as I do!

Notes
This sweater is knit flat from the top down. The V neck shaping is worked on each front edge, while the raglan shaping is worked across the fronts, back and sleeves. Sleeve stitches are placed on waste yarn or spare needles, then picked up and knit in the round down to the cuff. The front button band and collar stitches are picked up once the body is complete, and short rows are worked in garter stitch for the shawl collar shaping, and a 2 x 2 ribbing is worked for the button band.
