Field Guide No. 4 is Log Cabin Knitting 101.

What if we gave people instructions on how to improvise?
That’s what these six cloths are: the fundamental lessons of log cabin construction. As washcloths or dish rags (or whatever other fun purpose you might choose for them) they are beautiful and easy to knit. But they also introduce a few of the many different ways you can work with the log cabin technique.
