Lock Ridge Scarf
by Sandy Terp
This scarf uses many patterns from the Japanese, translated to Chinese books, recently popular. I did include some old favorites and added lace whenever I could. The theme is inspired by the iron ore furnace ruins at Lock Ridge Park. The bold lines of the patterns make me think of stone. The scarf model is done in two yarns by Malabrigo–Sock and Lace. I do suggest a tonal yarn and stone colors. Since the Sock yarn version could be for a man, I chose a somewhat geometric edging, while I did the edging for the Lace in, well, lace.
