Lizard Ridge for the Loom
This is a loom knit version of the Lizard Ridge Dishcloth by Laura Aylor Designs and is adapted with permission from Laura Aylor, who has graciously allowed me to share her pattern.
The pattern as written will yield an approximately 12” square dishcloth or afghan block.
Loom gauge: 3/8” or 1/2” (small peg)
Materials: loom (the KB Sock Loom 2 was used for this pattern), loom tool
Notions: scissors, optional: crochet hook for weaving in ends, row counter
Yarn: One 2 oz skein or worsted cotton, or 2 or more partial skeins if stripes are desired. This pattern uses variegated yarn to great effect.
Skills: E-wrap or plain knit stitch, purl stitch, wrap & turn
NOTE: the 2018 update clarifies the Row 10 instructions. Also provides guidance on choosing a knit stitch (e-wrap vs plain knit).
There are 2 .pdf files available: a 12-point type edition and a 24-point LARGE PRINT edition. Both contain the full pattern.
