The perfect sweater for all your cold-weather adventures, Little Northerly features a relaxed fit, classic crew neckline, and punchy colorwork stripes. Moving between the stockinette and colorwork stripes is very moreish and makes this knit very difficult to put down. The fit is entirely gender neutral and works well as a versatile layer for chilly days. Choose your little one’s favorite color combination and knit them their new favorite sweater.

The Little Northerly pullover is knit seamlessly from the top down. You begin by casting on all the stitches for the back, work short rows to shape the shoulders, and then knit straight to the depth of the yoke. The front shoulders are picked up from the back piece. Short rows are again used to shape the shoulders and crew neckline shaping is done with increases. Following the shaping, the front is worked straight to the depth of the yoke. The body is knit in the round. Sleeves are picked up and knit in the round. A doubled neckline finishes this cozy sweater.
