Very stretchy in sock wool!

This cute little hat and booties/socks uses sock yarns, so can stretch for quite a few months upwards from its size. The sock yarn is an Aran/worsted weight and is available in a variety of self-striping patterns and shades. The little socks are knitted exactly like adult socks and so make an excellent beginner’s pattern for sock knitting but even the most experienced knitter can’t resist the urge to knit something so tiny and cute and satisfyingly speedy.
