Little Duckling
Fluffy has never been so cute - I HAD to make these… a) I’m really into yellow at the moment and adore the shade of Drops Flora yellow… and b) kind of fits in with the Mallard - yes?
My little fluffy duckie is knitted in (almost) one piece - starting with neck and body then picking up stitches at the neck to shape the head - using fine Alpaca mix yarn with gorgeous kid mohair and silk … i.e using two colours and two yarn textures at once to create subtle tones and ultra fluffiness - I felted mine slightly too for extra ‘loft’!
I’ve added clear ‘how to make and finish’ images within the pattern…
Note: If you’d like to receive a free pattern from me once monthly then please feel free to sign up for my newsletter - www.eepurl.com/cIIfFj - the next one will be May 4th (should be a Stormtrooper for that date but er - won’t be!!)
More information on this - with clues as to what pattern it will be - can be found on my Instagram account - @dotpebbles_knits
