Litrík
The roofs of Reykjavik are wildly colorful, and they seem to counteract the gloom of winter. I’ve always considered it a personal imperative to wear bright colors in the greyest time of the year. I find that it lifts my spirits and, counterintuitively, some shades appear even more vivid in the diffuse light of winter. These mitts are an homage to those roofs, and to wearing color when there is non in the world. Full of intriguing yarn textures, these make a manageable first foray into stranded colorwork.
