Ling the Crane Figurine
A representation of longevity and good fortune, cranes are synonymous with Chinese porcelain, often painted flying gracefully over a pine tree. Blue and white porcelain is a timeless tradition, with its elegant colour palette and intricate artist, now captured in crochet and embroidery stitches. If you know that you are someone who loves a collection of things, then be warned that creating Edward’s Menagerie figurines is very addictive!
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet bird kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
