Lily of the Valley
This toddler dress accompanies the Skill Building article which discusses yarn overs. The skirt of the dress features a stitch pattern which requires yarn overs worked between two knit stitches, between a knit and a purl, and between a purl and a knit. Refer to that article for tips on keeping the yarn overs the same size.
Once the skirt is complete, a ribbed band is worked and stitches are decreased for the bodice. The dress is designed with two inches of ease at the chest so that it can be worn as a jumper if desired.
