Dark, alluring, romantic, femme — Lilith is a cloud-like pullover that evokes the dark feminine strength that resides in us all. The dichotomy of delicate lace & sinewy cables makes for an alluring fabric to knit and wear amplified by the subtly marled fingering weight and fuzzy lace weight combo for a stunning FO.
Lilith is shown as a cropped sweater, but easily modified to a standard length by working the lower body to your desired length before starting the armhole increases. If you choose to lengthen your sweater it will impact your yarn totals, so plan accordingly.
This sweater is worked from the bottom up in pieces with simplified finishing techniques for an enjoyable experience overall, keeping the project portable at all stages until seaming. The front and back are joined with a three-needle bind off at the shoulders and the sleeves, sides, and underarms are seamed after blocking. The V-neck is picked up and worked in the round before a final blocking to set the band, seams, and ends.
