Meet Lil Susan the Sunflower. This little bloom grows year-round, so whenever your day feels grey and dreary, she will always be there to make things a little sunnier.

She can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My Sunflower is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using four colors:

• Color 1: Chocolate (20 yards)
• Color 2: Lemon (5 yards)
• Color 3: Fern (20 yards)
• Color 4: Raspberry (20 yards)

Lil Susan is an Intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches, increases, decreases, joining a new yarn with a slip stitch crocheting two round together and some seaming.
