Dorn Mittens ~ dorn means hand in Breton ~ are designed to keep your hands warm while leaving your fingers free, making them ideal for knitting, writing, or using your phone.
They are knitted in the round from the cuff upwards, using circular needles and the magic loop method.

Size :
Size S, (M, L).
Fits an approximate hand circumference of: 18 cm (7”), (19 cm (7.5”), 20.5 cm (8”)).
You can easily adjust the size by changing the number of stitches cast on (always a multiple of 4) and by modifying the number of increases for the thumb gusset.

Material :

• Yarn: 25 (30, 35) g of Merino yarn from Knitting for Olive, 15 (20, 25) g of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive, OR 25 (30, 35) g of Dune yarn from Laines du Valgaudemar,

• 3.5 mm circular needles,

• Stitch marker,

• Tapestry needle.

Gauge :

10 cm x 10 cm = 24 stitches x 38 rows in stockinette stitch.
Gauge obtained holding together yarns from Knitting for Olive, or using Dune yarn from Laines du Valgaudemar held single.

Les mitaines dorn ~ dorn signifie main en Breton ~ sont conçues pour garder les mains bien au chaud tout en laissant les doigts libres – idéales pour tricoter, écrire ou utiliser son téléphone.
Elles se tricotent en rond, du poignet vers les doigts, à l’aide d’aiguilles circulaires en utilisant la méthode du magic loop.

Mais tu peux facilement l’adapter en modifiant le nombre de mailles montées (toujours un multiple de 4) et en modifiant le nombre d’augmentation pour le gousset du pouce.
