This shawl is inspired by Leia Organa, fictional character of the popular saga “Star Wars” by George Lucas. Leia is an intelligent, proactive and strong character, leader of the Rebel Alliance in the fight against the Galactic Empire. Thirty years later, she will be the general of La Resistencia fighting against the First Order and one of the last Jedi.
This pattern is a tribute to that character that inspired me so much in my childhood, and to Carrie Fisher for knowing how to interpret her as she deserves.
